Jarrow Cemetery covers 26 acres and was opened in 1869. There are separate areas for Church of England burials, Catholic Burials and Dissenting burials.
The site features two Victorian Chapels as well as victims of both World Wars. There are also graves of those from the 1936 Jarrow March too.
