From the bottom of my heart I want to thank yous all for providing Lynn with such a perfect send off yesterday, your professionalism is top notch!She would’ve absolutely loved the pure “class” and high standard of the service you provided for her … and certainly would’ve loved all the attention too that’s for sure! and thanks for making her look so gorgeous and peaceful.
From day one you have provided us with genuine compassion and dignity. Your patience and understanding is appreciated too! Considering I was on the phone at all times of night changing things and struggling to make decisions, you stood by me giving me the best help and gentle guidance that you possibly could, so thanks for that! Nothing has been a problem and I’ll never forget it. But the biggest comfort was to know that Lynn was in the safest of hands, we couldn’t have wished for anything else Jayne. You’re the best! Thankyou for all your hard work, and your golden hearts!

"Well where do i start….
These words from myself & carl wont ever seem enough. Jayne & her staff are the most passionate & caring people ever. They have went above & beyond for us and our little girl who sadly passed away recently. Jayne kept us informed with every little thing she was doing and any updates that were needed to be said. The care & love they showed us but also gave our little girl emmie-rose was amazing. We told jayne what service we wanted and she done exactly that.
Everyday without fail jayne read our little girl stories , gave her cuddles for me and gave her that motherly love along with other members of staff who are mother’s theirself when i wasnt there and i couldnt thank them enough for that. I new emmie was being cared and respected beautifully….even after weve had emmies funeral Jayne still keeps in touch and has allowed us to go and speak to her which is amazing comfort for ourselves.
If anybody ever asked me if I recommend jayne prior the answer is most definitely within a heartbeat.

We used Jayne Prior Funeral Directors for the recent loss of our beautiful Mam. From the first contact both myself and my brother felt at ease and appreciated the guidance from Jayne and all her team. Losing a loved one is devastating and you want your loved one to receive love, compassion and care. We received all of this and more from Jayne Prior Funeral Directors, as a family we are extremely grateful to Jayne and her team on the death of our brother Brian. The love and support we received on a daily basis from Jayne was unbelievable and exceptional, Jayne went above and beyond to give our brother a beautiful funeral that would make us proud. We have been inundated with messages from people who attended Brians funeral and they have expressed how his funeral was outstanding. We have previously lost family members and we have used different funeral directors , I only wish Jayne Prior Funeral directors had been established when we lost them as this funeral company is the best we have experienced. Jayne Prior and her team were amazing from start to finish, the personal touches and little extras i observed were nothing like i had seen before, nothing was too much and the support was second to none. the extra stuff that Jayne personally did for us, for the funeral without the families request was beautiful and I know my mam would have loved it, as did we, so thanks again Jayne. could not fault Jayne and the team one bit, they did such an amazing job with my mam, making her look so peaceful and younger, best funeral directors by far!

A week before my husband passed I spent all night researching funeral directors in Sunderland. I read all the feedback, comments and recommendations and Jayne Prior was simply the best. jayne and her team are the most honest, caring, respectful, supportive, professional and so down to earth they were simply amazing. We would like to say thank you to Gary for organising a marvellous send-off for our mother. Nothing was too much trouble - bringing my mother home to Sunderland from Sheffield, keeping in touch with us on a regular basis and seeing that all aspects of the funeral ran perfectly. Gary and Jayne supported my Dad and I through the immediate aftermath of my Mum's death just before Christmas. Their care, professionalism and very personal service made sure that a very difficult time went as smoothly as possible. We never felt rushed or as if we were on a conveyor belt, and always knew that help was at the other end of the phone - at whatever time of day. Whilst prices are not at the forefront of your mind when dealing with the death of a loved one, the prices laid out by Jayne Prior are accurate, transparent and honest. I would wholeheartedly them and hope they can continue to build their business in Eston.
I have recently used Jayne Prior funeral directors to take care of my Michael. I will never be able to recommend the company enough. From travelling 12 hours to collect Michael until the day of the funeral he had the best care. Michael was treat with upmost respect and dignity from every member of staff. Jayne and Ashleigh have became like family nothing is ever a problem and they made sure Michael had the best send off that he deserved, they’re worth their weight in gold!!
